Video Contest Submission

If you need assistance with submitting your entry, watch this step-by-step tutorial, https://youtu.be/L_uo44H0pRM.

I,

give
permission to enter his/her video (“Video”) in the Take Care of Texas Video Contest (“Contest”). I warrant and represent that my child and I have complied with the Video Contest Official Rules. We understand the Video must be submitted to the TCEQ by the due date, include the slogan “Take Care of Texas. It’s the only one we’ve got.”, and illustrate positive ways Texans can help keep our air and water clean, conserve water and energy, and/or reduce waste.

I agree that the Video will not be returned and is the property of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The copyright and all other rights, title, and interest in the Video shall be owned by TCEQ.

I agree that TCEQ and any successors, licensees and assignees there to shall have the non-exclusive and perpetual right, but not the obligation, to use my child’s name, photograph, voice, likeness, and similar characteristics of his/her identity for advertising, publicity, promoting, selling, and other related purposes in connection with TCEQ both during and after the Contest. By submitting a video, you agree that you have obtained the consent of those whose faces are visible or voices are audible in the Video for the TCEQ to use.

I agree to cooperate with TCEQ by providing appropriate photographs and biographical information, if and as reasonably requested. I understand that certain winners may be invited to attend TCEQ events.

I agree that TCEQ is not liable for any injuries, damages, claims, demands, actions or causes of action whatsoever which may arise out of or relate in any way to my child winning, acceptance or use of any prize, or the Contest (“Liabilities”), and I agree to forever release, discharge, indemnify, hold harmless and defend TCEQ from any such Liabilities.
