Calling all Texas middle school and high school students! Submit your video for the 2025-2026 video contest! Students create a 30-second, PSA-style video that shows positive ways to Take Care of Texas and our environment.
All entries must include the slogan “Take Care of Texas. It’s the only one we’ve got.” and portray positive ways Texans can help keep our air and water clean, conserve water and energy, and reduce waste.

TCEQ Commissioners and representatives from Waste Management of Texas, Inc. will recognize and honor the first prize winners at the Texas Environmental Excellence Awards Banquet in June. All winning videos will be showcased on the Take Care of Texas website, on social media, and in media announcements.
