A series of short educational videos were developed by Chet Garner, host of PBS' The Daytripper. Each short film provides tips on conservation. The new videos tackle recycling, water conservation, and the importance of native plants. Each of these videos will be broadcast across the state on Texas PBS stations beginning in late-January through April.
Take Care of Texas has designed a collection of free lesson plans and student worksheets designed to spark activities, lessons, and discussions about conservation. Topics include air, water, and waste conservation tactics and strategies. The collection will use insights and data from TCEQ researchers and science experts. The Texas environmental collection is intended for K-12 classroom teachers, informal educators, and parents who are looking for science-based educational learning materials.
