Take it a step further and consider having students enter Take Care of Texas’ Art Contest for younger students or the Video Contest for older students. The possibility of winning prizes can motivate students to become very creative and expressive.
Integrate water conservation topics into different subjects across the curriculum. In science class, students can learn about the water cycle and the impact of pollution on water sources. In social studies, they can explore water scarcity issues around the world. By weaving these discussions into various subject areas, students gain a holistic understanding of water conservation.
